Man with utility knife robs couple in Riverhead lot, cops say
Police are looking for a man armed with a utility knife who stole a pocketbook from a couple sitting in a car in a store parking lot in Riverhead.
Shortly before 5 p.m. Thursday, the man flashed a box cutter at the couple as they sat in the parking lot at the Walmart on Old Country Road, police said. The man took the pocketbook and fled.
Anyone with information about the theft is asked to call Riverhead Police at 631-727-4500.
