Police: Masked suspect sought in Baldwin store robbery

He robbed the Milk N’ Things store on Grand Avenue in Baldwin last month at gunpoint, stealing cash and cigarettes. Now, Nassau County police are asking if you recognize the suspect — and can help them catch him.
The armed robbery took place at 10:05 p.m. on Sept. 18.
Police said the suspect, shown in a surveillance photo wearing a baseball cap, glasses and his lower face partially masked, entered the store, displayed a black handgun — and demanded cash.
Police said he stole $200 and 20 packs of assorted cigarettes and then fled the scene, running south on Rose Boulevard.
There were no injuries.
Police are asking anyone with information regarding the suspect or the robbery to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential.
