Two men linked to eight Nassau County drug overdoses were arrested Wednesday on charges of selling heroin and cocaine, police said.

An investigation into the heroin and cocaine overdoses led to the arrest of Daniel Crane, 31, of Carle Place, at 409 Old Country Rd. in Westbury.

He was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and two counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance, police said.

Detectives later arrested Reginald Matthews, 48, of Hempstead, on Attorney Street in Hempstead. He was charged with three counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and three counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance, police said.

They were both arraigned Thursday morning in First District Court in Hempstead. Crane’s bail was set at $37,500; bail for Matthews was set at $100,000.
