Police: ‘Multiple shots’ fired into North Bellport home

Fifth Squad detectives are investigating a reckless endangerment incident after someone fired “multiple shots” into a home in North Bellport late Sunday, Suffolk County police said.
The incident at the home on Bayview Avenue was reported in a 911 call at about 10:30 p.m.
Police said three residents were in the house at the time, but no one was injured.
There have been no arrests. It was not immediately clear if the home was targeted.
Photos from the scene show police inspecting what appear to be bullet holes in the siding of the house, located just south of Sunrise Highway and just west of Station Road.
