A man standing outside a home on a side street in Wyandanch was shot twice Sunday afternoon, sustaining “non-life-threatening injuries,” police said.

David Moore, 33, of North Babylon, was standing outside the home on South 26th Street when he was shot in the leg and abdomen just before 4:30 p.m., Suffolk County police said Monday.

He was transported by Wyandanch/Wheatley Heights Rescue ambulance to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip.

His condition was not immediately known.

Police did not release any other details of the shooting and said only that the investigation is continuing.
