Police said they are trying to determine whether a broken window and a report of shots fired Sunday are related to a party at a Riverhead residence.

A resident reported the window broken at his Oakland Drive West house at 9:15 a.m. Sunday, Riverhead Town police said.

Earlier, police had responded to a house on Oakland Drive South where the party was being held, according to a news release.

Officers went to the Oakland Drive South residence at 12:05 a.m. based on a report of shots fired and a fight, the release said.

Anyone with information can call Riverhead Town Police at 631-727-4500.
