Authorities are investigating the Monday armed robbery of a Verizon store in Roslyn Heights during which phones and cash were taken, Nassau County police said.

No injuries were reported.

Police said the robbery happened shortly before 10:30 a.m. at the Mineola Avenue store.

According to detectives, two masked males displaying a black handgun entered the store and ordered a 20-year-old male store manager to the back office to open a safe.

Police said after the victim complied, both men grabbed several cellphones along with an undisclosed amount of cash and fled on foot in an unknown direction.

One suspect is described as between 20 and 25 years old, 6 feet tall and 190 pounds. He was wearing gray sweatpants, black sneakers and a gray ski mask.

The other suspect is described as about 25 years old, 6 feet tall and 150 pounds. He was wearing black sweatpants, a blue hooded sweatshirt and a gray ski mask.

Detectives asked anyone with information on the robbery to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 800-244-8477. All callers will remain anonymous.
