Shots fired from car strike home in North Amityville, cops say

A bullet fired from one car and aimed at another Monday morning in North Amityville struck a home on County Line Road, Suffolk police said.
No one was injured in the 8:30 a.m. incident, police said, though the home was occupied at the time.
Several 911 callers reported that someone fired several shots from a white vehicle at a black Acura sedan near County Line Road and Bentley Road. First Precinct officers responded and found the black car unoccupied on East Smith Street.
The vehicle was impounded and the investigation is continuing.
