Police search for man who assaulted woman in Elmont
Nassau County Police are looking for a young man, possibly in his late teens, who they say forcibly grabbed a woman's private parts Friday night in Elmont.
The victim, a 50-year-old woman, was walking on Freeman Avenue at 7:35 p.m. when detectives say a thin male in his late teens grabbed and squeezed her buttocks and groin area. He then fled the scene.
The suspect was wearing blue jeans and a brown collared shirt with white stripes on the sleeves, police said.
