Police seek Deer Park bank robbery suspect
Suffolk County's major case investigations unit is looking for a man who robbed a Deer Park bank Friday, police said.
At about 5:25 p.m., a man entered the Bank of America, 1979 Deer Park Ave., and handed a teller a note that demanded cash and said he was armed with a gun.
The teller gave the man an unspecified amount of cash, and the man fled on foot heading east on Nicolls Road, police said.
The suspect has a slim to medium build, is between 6-feet to 6-feet, 2-inches tall, with a dark goatee, dark hair and in his late 20s to early 30s, police said.
He was wearing a black-hooded sweatshirt, with a white tie string and white cuffs, a black shirt, black pants, black gloves and had a watch on his left wrist.
