Crime Stoppers and Nassau police are seeking the public’s help in locating a vehicle that left the scene of a fatal motorcycle collision on Sept. 8.

The collision occurred at 1:15 p.m. on Front Street about 100 feet east of Burston Street, in the village of Hempstead.

The vehicle, a white delivery van, left without reporting the collision, police said.

Crimes Stoppers is asking anyone with information about this collision to call a toll free hotline at 800-244-TIPS (8477), Det. John Lapine, or any member of the Nassau County Police Department’s Vehicular Crime and Reconstruction Section at 516-573-7788 or 516-573-7794.
