Police seek man in Baldwin laundry robbery
Police are searching for a man who robbed a 24-hour self-service laundry early Thursday morning in Baldwin.
Police believe the robber may have two accomplices.
The robbery occurred at the laundry at 1217 Grand Ave. at 2:34 a.m., Nassau County police said. The man entered the office area of the laundry - and ordered the attendant to hand over cash, police said. The attendant did.
Police said the man fled, apparently with two others - who had been waiting for him outside the building.
No one was injured.
Police are searching for information about the trio and searching for the robber, who they said was wearing a dirty gray or green shirt. Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS.
All calls will remain confidential, police said.
