Police are searching for a shotgun-toting suspect wanted in the daylight robbery of a Uniondale 7-Eleven on Sunday.

Nassau County police said the gunman wore a dark hooded sweatshirt, a burgundy shirt and gray jeans with a horseshoe logo on the pocket, as well as one white glove.

After walking into the 7-Eleven on Front Street at 3:49 p.m., police said the suspect displayed a shotgun and demanded cash from the register. The employee complied and, after stealing an undisclosed amount of cash and two packs of cigarettes, the gunman fled the store, heading west on Front Street.

No one was injured in the incident.

Police are asking anyone with information about the robbery to call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS.

All calls will remain confidential.
