Suffolk County police said Thursday that they are looking for a man who robbed a Chase Bank in Shirley.

The suspect entered the branch on William Floyd Parkway near Tyne Road shortly after 4 p.m. Wednesday, handing a note demanding cash to a teller, police said.

The teller surrendered an unspecified amount of cash, and the suspect fled. He was last seen heading south through the parking lot.

Police said the suspect is described as in his 20s, between 5-foot-8 and 5-foot-10 with a thin build. He was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, dark jeans and sunglasses.
