Police: Two shotguns stolen in Laurel house burglary

Riverhead Town Police said Friday they are investigating the burglary of a garage at a home in Laurel earlier this week during which two shotguns were stolen.

The owner of the home on Beach Road reported on Thursday that the shotguns and other items were taken from the unlocked garage between Monday and Thursday, police said.

Detectives asked that anyone with information on the burglary call them at 631-727-4500, extension 327.

All calls will be kept confidential, police said.
