Suffolk police to auction 80 vehicles Saturday; bids start at $500 for Mercedes, Dodge Challenger, BMW

The Suffolk police vehicle auction this weekend features a selection of 80 cars, trucks and sport utility vehicles, all to be sold "as is" with a minimum opening bid of $500.
The auction is scheduled for Saturday at 9 a.m. at the Suffolk police impound facility at 100 Old Country Rd. in Westhampton.
Suffolk police will hold previews of the collection on Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and a one-hour preview before the auction Saturday.
All bidders must be registered; auction requirements are available on the Suffolk police website by visiting suffolkpd.org, then clicking on Impound Section and Vehicle Auctions.
Among the cars, trucks and SUVs highlighted are a 2017 Mercedes-Benz C300, a 2017 Nissan Pathfinder and a 2024 Toyota RAV4.
The 80-vehicle field also includes a 2019 Dodge Challenger, a 2019 Kia Soul, a 2010 BMW 328i, a 2010 BMW 535i, and a 2018 GMC Sierra. Work vans and pickups are also available.
The oldest available vehicle is a 1970 Chevrolet Malibu.
