The recovered vehicle was impounded and police said forensics experts are examining recovered evidence.
The victim, whose identity has not been released pending notification of next of kin, was transported from the scene on Washington Avenue at Nichols Court to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead more than two hours after the 8:53 p.m. accident, police said.
