Police: Would-be shoplifter pulls gun at Target in East Farmingdale

A man who attempted to shoplift at a Target store Monday night in East Farmingdale pulled a gun when he was confronted by store employees, Suffolk County police said.

The man fled from the store on Willow Park Center about 10:40 p.m., police said.

There were no injuries and no merchandise was taken, police said.

The investigation is continuing.
