New York State Police on Monday arrested a Riverhead man in relation to a slashing at a Riverhead pub, authorities said.

Police said that Dwayne E. Eleazer, 28, was at The Caboose Pub at 133 Railroad Ave. early Saturday when he attacked someone with a knife, "causing a severe laceration to the victim’s arm."

The unidentified victim was taken to a medical center for treatment, police said.

Eleazer was arraigned on a second-degree assault charge in the Town of Riverhead Court and released on $1,000 cash bail, police said.

In September, two people were shot and seriously injured outside the pub after an argument, Riverhead Town police said at the time. A Calverton man was arrested and charged in that shooting in October, Riverhead police said.
