Riverhead Chase Bank branch robbed, police say
Riverhead police are investigating a robbery that occurred on Monday, authorities said late Monday.
Police said a man handed a teller a note demanding money shortly before 6 p.m. The robber got away with an undisclosed amount of money from the Chase Bank branch at 655 Old Country Rd., police said. The man had long black hair and wore a black hooded shirt, they said.
Authorities said anyone with information could call 631-727-4500.
