Police are investigating a robbery early Sunday morning in Riverhead.

A 26-year-old man asked two men for a ride around 2:15 a.m. on Ostrander Avenue near Corwin Street, Riverhead police said in a news release.

The two men, whom the victim did not know, stole $25, an iPhone, a debit card and two credit cards from him, police said.

The victim was taken to Peconic Bay Medical Center with nonlife-threatening injuries, police said.
