A Riverhead man was arrested on drug charges Friday during an ongoing investigation by multiple law enforcement agencies into narcotics distribution on Long Island’s East End, officials said.

The East End Drug Task Force arrested Andre M. Coach, 41, of Carl’s Place, as part of surveillance efforts in Riverhead Commons at 733 E. Main St., according to a news release issued by Suffolk County District Attorney Thomas Spota’s office.

Officials said quantities of fentanyl were found at the location.

Coach was charged with third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and third- and fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

It was unclear Friday night whether Coach had retained an attorney.

The East End Drug Task Force comprises several law enforcement agencies, including New York State Police, the Suffolk County Police Department, Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office, Suffolk County Department of Probation, Southampton Town Police Department, Riverhead Police Department, East Hampton Town Police Department, Southampton Village Police Department, Southold Town Police Department, the federal Drug Enforcement Administration, the Department of Homeland Security and the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office.
