A Patchogue man was arraigned Tuesday and charged with the armed robberies of two 7-Eleven stores in a 90-minute span Monday morning, officials said.

Daniel Riemenschneider, 35, was charged with two counts of first-degree robbery and one count of seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Suffolk County District Court Judge James Malone held Riemenschneider, who was represented by an attorney from the Legal Aid Society, on $100,000 cash or $50,000 bond, records show.

Suffolk police said Riemenschneider showed a gun and demanded cash from a clerk about 1:30 a.m. Monday at a 7-Eleven on Sunrise Highway in East Patchogue. The cashier gave him money and he ran off, police said.

Then, about 3:05 a.m., he held up the 7-Eleven on Montauk Highway in Bayport and again ran off with cash, police said.

Store video surveillance helped Fifth Precinct detectives identify Riemenschneider, authorities said, and they arrested him about 7 p.m. as he left his job in Ronkonkoma.

He is due back in court on July 27.
