A Rocky Point teenager who went on graffiti-spraying spree near his home was charged Friday with hate crimes after police found several swastikas on a house and retaining wall, Suffolk police said.

A 911 caller reported the vandalism on a vehicle and a Bobcat utility vehicle on Clio Road on Friday morning, and when officers arrived, they noticed graffiti on other streets, including the swastikas on Garden Road, police said.

Christopher Collins, 18, of Freya Road, was charged with two counts of first-degree aggravated harassment and five counts of making graffiti, police said. He is expected to be arraigned Saturday.

He defaced the properties Thursday night, including a Locust Drive home and street signs on Locust Drive and Clio Road, police said.
