A 20-year-old woman was charged with third-degree identity theft after she used someone else’s credit card without permission, Riverhead police said Saturday.

Emily Mioducki, 20, of Rocky Point used a credit card belonging to a Wading River man to buy $235 worth of gift cards and assorted items from a Family Dollar General Store in Rocky Point on March 25. That day, the victim reported to police that an unknown person had used his credit card, authorities said.

An investigation led police to Mioducki, who was arrested Saturday and later released on a desk appearance ticket.
