Rolls-Royce carjacked from woman unloading items from the car at a Brookville home
A man wrestled with a 33-year-old woman in broad daylight in Brookville on Friday before stealing her luxury car, Nassau police said.
The Nassau County Police Department said the victim drove her 2022 Rolls-Royce into her driveway on Old Cedar Swamp Road around 12:46 p.m. While she was unloading it, a man wearing a black hooded sweatshirt got into the car.
A struggle ensued, according to the police, and the man gained control of the car.
As he was driving away, the 33-year-old woman was dragged several feet, police said. The woman was not injured.
Police described the man as between 5-foot-9 and 5-foot-10 inches tall with a thin build. He drove off in the Rolls-Royce in an unknown direction.
Detectives are asking anyone with information about the car jacking to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS or call 911. All calls will remain confidential.
