Cops seek 2 men armed with guns who robbed Roosevelt store
Nassau police are looking for two armed men who robbed a Roosevelt store Saturday evening.
Police say the men entered Universal Envios Corp., 377A Nassau Rd. in Roosevelt, a shipping and check-cashing store, around 5:45 p.m., displayed handguns, pushed an employee to the ground and demanded money.
The female victim, 33, gave them the cash and the men fled south on Nassau Road with an unknown amount of money, according to police.
The first man is described as 5 feet, 8 inches tall, with an average build, and wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and a dark-colored mask.
The second man is described as 5 feet, 6 inches tall, with an average build, and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and a dark-colored mask.
Detectives ask anyone with information to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
