Roosevelt food deliveryman robbed at gunpoint, police say

A man delivering Chinese food in Roosevelt Thursday was robbed at gunpoint, Nassau County police said.

The man, 54, was going back to his vehicle after delivering food to a Horace Avenue residence at about 11:25 p.m. when he was approached by two masked men, including one with a black handgun, police said.

The two masked men demanded money from the deliveryman; he complied and the two ran east toward Park Avenue with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.
