Roosevelt food deliveryman robbed, Nassau police say
Nassau County police are looking for two masked men who on Wednesday in Roosevelt robbed another man delivering Chinese food at gunpoint.
Police said the two suspects, one of whom had a black handgun, approached the deliveryman for the New Wok King restaurant at about 10 p.m., as he exited his car on Elmwood Avenue.
The two demanded money and the victim, 27, complied, police said. The suspects, who also took his cellphone and the food, then ran off west toward Oakwood Place.
