Roosevelt man crashes stolen car near Albany, police say

A Roosevelt man was high on drugs when he crashed a stolen car Saturday on Interstate 90, northwest of Albany, State Police said.
Troopers responding to an early morning call found Shabaz J. Hall, 22, walking away from the crash scene, according to a news release.
Hall admitted to troopers he had crashed the vehicle, a 2004 Hyundai, which had been reported stolen by Albany police, the release said.
Hall was arrested on charges of criminal possession of stolen property, a felony, driving while his ability was impaired by drugs and aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle.
He was arraigned at the City of Albany court and is being held on $2,500 bail, police said.
