A Roosevelt man faces forgery charges, Nassau County police said.

Warren Mimms Jr., 21, of East Pennywood Avenue, was pulled over by police on a traffic stop about 5:35 p.m. Thursday when officers found him in possession of three forged credit cards and a card reader data collector software disc, according to Major Case Bureau detectives.

Police said they also found Mimms in possession of marijuana during the stop on Conlon Road and Hausch Boulevard in Roosevelt.

Mimms is charged with three counts of second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument and unlawful possession of marijuana, police said. He also is charged with two vehicle equipment infractions for excessive tint on his side windows and operating a motor vehicle with obstructed vision.

Mimms is scheduled to be arraigned Friday at First District Court in Hempstead.
