Suffolk police have issued an appearance ticket to a Selden bartender who they cited for selling alcohol to a minor in a hookah lounge on Thursday, officials said.

Kayla Wisnowski, 22, of Abbott Avenue in Mastic, was issued a field appearance ticket for first-degree unlawfully dealing with a child, police said. She is scheduled to be arraigned in First District Court on May 15.

The establishment, Sphinx Hookah Lounge at 1245 Middle Country Rd., was inspected by Sixth Precinct Crime Section officers Thursday following complaints about the sale of alcohol to minors, police said.

The owners of the establishment were cited for five Suffolk County health department violations and also received citations from the Town of Brookhaven and fire marshal.
