Man shot in Selden apartment, police say

Police are investigating a shooting Tuesday in Selden.

Suffolk County police said a man, whose identity has not been released, was shot inside an apartment on College Road. They said the shooting was reported at about 5:15 a.m.

The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment of what police described only as “serious injuries.”

Details of the shooting were still emerging on Tuesday afternoon.
