Maurice Sinclair Thomas, 39, found shot dead early Saturday in Hempstead

Police identified Maurice Sinclair Thomas of Hempstead as the man found fatally show in the village early Saturday.
Thomas, 39, was found by police officers just after 1 a.m. on Yale Street, the Nassau County Police Department wrote in a news release.
He was pronounced dead at a hospital. No other information has been disclosed.
