Police investigating shots-fired report in East Massapequa

A report of shots fired before dawn Saturday in an East Massapequa neighborhood was being investigated, Nassau police said.
The incident was reported to have occurred near the intersection of Merrick and Unqua roads. The police were alerted at about 5:29 a.m., police said.
