Shots fired into North Valley Stream home, Nassau cops say
Nassau County police are asking the public’s help after shots were fired into a house in North Valley Stream on Saturday morning.
A woman told authorities that she heard gunshots outside her William Street home at about 3:30 a.m. Police said they responded to the call, but found no damage to the home.
Officers did, however, find damage to her neighbor’s home, police said. Three residents — two women, 63 and 29 years old, and a man, 26 — were sleeping inside when the shots were fired and entered through the front of the home, police said. No one was injured.
About 13 shell casings were recovered outside the home, police said.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-8477. All callers will remain anonymous.
