Suffolk County police and Crime Stoppers said Friday they are looking for the person who used a pickup truck to steal a snowplow from a Lake Ronkonkoma funeral home.

Fourth Squad detectives said on March 2 the driver of a dark-colored pickup, perhaps a newer Chevrolet Silverado, took an 8-foot Western plow from the parking lot of Moloney’s Lake Funeral Home, at 132 Ronkonkoma Ave.

Police on Friday released a photograph of a plow similar to the one that was stolen.

Police said the plow is worth about $5,000.

Anyone with more information can call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-8477. All information will be kept confidential.
