Son finds man asleep in Huntington home’s living room, cops say

Suffolk County police are seeking the public’s help locating a man found sleeping in the living room of a Huntington home where he trespassed last year, authorities said.

Police said the man is wanted for criminal trespass in connection with the Dec. 17 incident at a Park Avenue residence, during which the man — along with a woman — was found sleeping in the living room by the homeowner’s son.

A photograph of the man was released Monday, but information was not immediately available about where the photo was taken, why the woman was not being sought, and other details of the incident.

Anyone with information was asked to anonymously call Suffolk County Crime Stoppers at 800-220-8477. Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest.
