Southampton cops: Four men arrested in Hampton Bays stabbing

Southampton Town Police arrested four men early Saturday in connection with a stabbing in the parking lot of a Hampton Bays bar that left two victims seriously injured.

Police were called to Charlie Brown’s Bar & Grill at 214 West Montauk Highway around 3:50 a.m. and discovered a 30-year-old man with a stab wound to his torso, authorities said.

The victim, a Riverhead resident, was transported to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center in Patchogue, where he was listed in grave condition.

A second victim, a 23-year-old man, was listed in serious but stable condition at Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead, police said.

Bar owner Luis Tejada said the altercation took place in a parking lot adjacent to the bar but one victim walked to the Charlie Brown parking lot. Bar employees called police after seeing the victim, Tejada said.

Officers located Carlos Gutierrez-Zacupa, 23, of Flanders; Luis Linares-Chavez, 22, of Westhampton; and Hampton Bays residents Nelvin Ramos-Andrades, 18, and Marvin Siciliano-Nunez, 19, a few miles away. Each was charged with two counts of first-degree gang assault.

Linares-Chavez was also charged with driving while ability impaired.

The four will be held overnight and were scheduled to be arraigned at Southampton Town Justice Court on Sunday morning.
