Man arrested in shooting of Shinnecock Nation resident, cops say

A Southampton man was arrested and charged with several felonies in the shooting of a Shinneock Nation resident Monday on the reservation, the State Police said.
The victim was taken to Stony Brook University Hospital to be treated for “multiple nonlife threatening gunshot wounds,” the police said on Wednesday.
The suspect, Justin Eleazer, 25, is expected to be arraigned Wednesday at Southampton Town Justice Court on charged of second-degree assault, criminal possession of a weapon, criminal use of a firearm and second-degree menacing, police said.
