Southold man accused of possessing child porn, police say

A Southold man was arrested and charged with possessing child pornography after a search warrant was executed at his Summer Lane home Wednesday morning, police said.
Suffolk County police said the arrest of Trent Stack, 44, was made at 6:30 a.m. in connection with an ongoing investigation into Internet distribution of child pornography and with assistance from Southold Town police and members of the federal Long Island Exploited Children’s Task Force.
Stack was charged with one count of possessing a sexual performance by a child. Police said he is scheduled for arraignment Wednesday in Southold Town Justice Court.
