A Roosevelt man whose license had been suspended three dozen times was arrested Monday evening after being pulled over for speeding, Nassau County police said.

Raymond Renwick, 34, was speeding on Lee Street in Roosevelt in a 2018 Honda Accord about 5:35 p.m. when officers stopped him, police said in a news release Tuesday.

During a license check, officers found Renwick’s driver's license was revoked and suspended 36 times, police said.

Renwick was arrested and charged with first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, unlawful possession of marijuana and three other traffic violations, police said.

He was scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday in First District Court in Hempstead.
