St. James TD Bank branch robbed by man in mask, cops say

Suffolk police are searching for a masked robber who targeted a St. James bank Sunday afternoon.
Police said at about 2:35 p.m. the man entered the TD Bank at 621 Lake Ave. and handed the teller a note demanding cash. After receiving the money, the man left, heading south on Lake Avenue.
The man had the lower half of his face covered with a white construction mask, police said. He was described as being 5 feet, 10 inches tall, and was wearing a brown hooded sweatshirt and bluejeans.
Detectives ask anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-8477.
