Four men were stabbed Monday morning during a fight outside a Hempstead bar on Jackson Street, Nassau County police said.

The attack started as an argument while the men were inside the Casa Blanca bar at around 4:45 a.m., authorities said. The men left the bar and a physical fight broke out between them just outside Academy Charter School.

All four men were taken to a hospital to be treated for stab wounds, said Det. Lt. Richard LeBrun. One of the four has already been released, he said.

Police are still investigating the stabbing. Authorities have not released the names of the men involved or the extent of their injuries. It was also unclear if any arrests have been made.

Anyone with information about the fight is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-8477. All calls will be kept anonymous.
