Man, 20, fatally stabbed in Hempstead, Nassau police say
A 20-year-old man was stabbed to death in Hempstead late Friday afternoon, the Nassau County Police Department said.
The stabbing was at 5:28 p.m. at Brown and Kennedy avenues, where police then responded to a 911 call for a man stabbed, a department news release said.
The man was brought to a hospital and pronounced dead at 5:55 p.m., police said. Sunday afternoon police identified him as Ceasr Alvarado-Morales of Hempstead.
Police didn't provide a suspected motive or say whether anyone is a suspect or had been arrested.
