Officers responding to a report of a "domestic disturbance" at an East Meadow home Wednesday evening found a woman who had been stabbed and an 18-month-old girl with a cut on her arm, Nassau County police said.

The officers were called to the Cooper Drive home around 6:38 p.m. When they arrived, police said they discovered the woman, 38, who had "multiple stab wounds." In addition to the cut on her arm, police said the girl had sustained a bruise and abrasions to her head.

While officers were treating the woman and the girl, police said a 37-year-old man was found with a cut to his neck.

The man and the woman were in critical condition Thursday morning. The girl was in stable condition with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

No arrests have been made, police said. No further information was provided.
