A North Amityville man was arrested early Sunday morning after stabbing his friend multiple times during an altercation, Suffolk County police said.
Joshua Deluna, 32, was charged with second-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon following the 6:25 a.m. incident in front of his home on Madison Avenue, according to a news release.
Police said the alleged victim, identified only as a 43-year-old Copiague man, was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip for treatment of undisclosed injuries.
Delta was taken into police custody and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Monday, police said.
