Stabbing victim found in Riverhead apartment complex, police say
A stabbing victim was found Wednesday afternoon in the rear of a Riverhead apartment complex, Riverhead Town police said.
Officer responded to 8321 East Main St. about 4:45 p.m. and found a victim with numerous stab wounds, police said.
The victim was taken to Peconic Bay Medical Center to be treated for injuries that were not life threatening, police said.
Other details were not released.
Detectives ask witnesses and anyone with information to call them at 631-727-4500.
