Riverhead Town police are investigating the theft of a tin sculpture — an item valued at up to $23,000 — whose owner said vanished from a storage unit some time within the past several months.
The sculpture was removed from a storage unit on Mill Road in Riverhead, police said in a news release. No further information was provided.
Police ask anyone with details about the item’s disappearance to call them at 631-727-4500.
