A 30-year-old homeless man was arraigned Saturday on charges he robbed two Long Island banks in April — and Riverhead Town police said they plan to charge him with robbing a third bank.

Vincent Allen, who Suffolk County police said was homeless, was charged with two counts of third-degree robbery and was ordered held on $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 bond by Judge Jennifer Henry in First District Court in Central Islip, records show.

Police said Allen went to the Bank of America on Veterans Memorial Highway in Commack about 12:30 p.m. Friday and handed a teller a note demanding cash. The teller complied, and Allen fled on foot, police said. He was apprehended a short time later.

Suffolk police said Allen also robbed the TD Bank on East Main Street in Patchogue on April 23.

Riverhead Town police said they also plan to charge Allen with a count of third-degree robbery for holding up a Capital One bank on East Main Street in Riverhead on April 26.

His next scheduled court date is Tuesday.
